S P A C E | 'The Way: Wherever you go, there you are'

Photos, short essay, poetry: a curation of first impressions on the six week tour through the countrysides of Japan.

This is the first in a set of 12 issues of S P A C E | 'The Way.'

With a focus on Kyushu and Shikoku, the project set out to explore the quietest spaces, off the beaten track, in otherwise overtouristed Japan. Who I met, what I learned, how it looked, what it felt like: these are the small vignettes I share in the zine, S P A C E, which I publish one week at a time.
